Repercussion Theatre presented its first Shakespeare-in-the-Park production in the summer of 1988. A dedicated group played four performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Beaconsfield and Westmount. The following year, Othello and Twelfth Night played to 5,000 spectators and the tour rapidly grew to 15 performances. Audiences have continued to grow with each passing summer — now reaching over 13,000 spectators for this cherished annual event.
