(2018) Romeo & Juliet: Love is Love | Repercussion Theatre

Romeo & Juliet: Love is Love (2018)

“There are few things as fun in the summer as sitting on a blanket under the stars, picnic and bottle of wine in front of you, watching a professional cast of actors bring to life classical theatre and make it fun and make it relatable. And it’s all free!”

– Toula Drimonis, audience member

 The Play

Celebrating Repercussion Theatre’s 30th season of Shakespeare-in-the-Park with a contemporary, gender-bent take on a classic love story: Romeo & Juliet: Love is Love. In this tragic tale of young love and old grudges, we entered a world calcified by hate. As two young people galloped full speed towards love, they were broken by (and ultimately broke down) the walls erected by the previous generation.  With a cast of 10 dynamic performers, an eye-catching design and live music, this was show not to be missed.
